MINITECTURE - Crochet Trampoline

Added on by martine nicolay.

Remember my trampoline post and an other post about the crochet playscape by Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam! Now I stumbled upon a proposal by JDS architects for a crochet trampoline for Frank L Wright's Void in the Guggenheim Museum, New York! Isn't this exiting - have a look!

Experiencing the Void

Architecture turned into enjoyment and participation.
Instead of contemplating the void, we propose to “experience” it by letting a trampoline net spiral down the rotunda space.
The experience plays on Wright’s original scenography of the Guggenheim to visit the exhibition downwards.
