MINISTORY - Motherbook by Dentsu

Added on by martine nicolay.

Let's just move to Japan and sign up at Kishokai Medical birthing facility to receive the most lovely pregnancy diary I’ve ever seen. Do you think any airline will still take me - being 34 weeks pregnant?

I react very allergic to most mother and baby books but this is pure art and a true homage to motherhood! I believe every pregnant woman should have one!

MINISTORY - Paper to Plants

Added on by martine nicolay.

Hello. How are you? I apologise for the radio silence ... again! In October, Léonore and I travelled to Luxembourg for a couple of weeks to see family and friends, and enjoying the crisp autumn weather. Fall can be delight, I must say!

No fall in Dakar unfortunately, but I discovered this beautiful stop-motion video dedicated to the 4 seasons that I must share with you! It was made by Kelli Anderson and Daniel Dunnam for Plants, a children app by Tinybop (which looks very interesting as well).

400 tiny leaves, 500 blades of grass, 25 squirrels, and a total of 6,000 photos help to put everything together. A behind-the-scenes video exists as well - have a look here!

MINISTORY - Inside the Womb

Added on by martine nicolay.

While pregnant, I was amazed and impressed by mother nature. Every day, every week and every month tiny Léonore was growing inside of me, and it was totally out of my control. It was the strangest feeling - but 100% beautiful!

Now National Geographic released documentary called 'Extraordinary Animals in the Womb' with astonishing photographs.  As the Daily Mail writes, the photos were taken "by using a combination of three-dimensional ultrasound scans, computer graphics and small cameras to document the animals’ development from conception to birth, and give an unparalleled glimpse into a world that few of us would ever expect to see."
